We kunnen natuurlijk naar artikelen zoeken via Google Scholar, of de concurrerende site van Microsoft, maar beide zoekmachines zijn commerciële ondernemingen. Scientific Commons is een Zwitsers initiatief met als doel: “to develop the world’s largest communication medium for scientific knowledge products which is freely accessible to the public”.

Veelbelovend, maar naar ik begrijp op zoek naar fondsen. Beleidsmakers in de wetenschap, hier ligt een kans om een stukje toekomst in eigen hand te houden.
